Kidney Cancer - Types and Treatments
Kidney cancer is a condition in which there is an abnormal growth in the kidney cells. Most of the kidney cancers appear in the lining of the tiny tubes (tubules) in the kidney and are known as renal cell carcinoma.
Types of Kidney cancer
There are several types of kidney cancer:
Renal cell carcinoma: Renal cell carcinoma is also known as renal adenocarcinoma or renal cancer and is the most common type of kidney cancer. This type of cancer begins in the lining of the kidney tubules.
Urothelial carcinoma: Urothelial carcinoma is also known as the transitional cell carcinoma that occurs in the bladder. This type of cacer spreads to the other body parts aggressively and these cancerous tumors are known as malignant tumors.
Sarcoma: Sarcoma is a rare type of cancer that occurs in the connective tissues. Also, there are more than 50 various types of sacroma which are classified as soft tissue sacroma and bone sacroma.
Wilms tumor: Wilms tumor is a type of childhood cancer that begin in the kidneys. It is also the most common type of cancer that occurs in children.
Lymphoma: Lymphoma is the one of the most common type of cancer. This type of cancer starts in infection-fighting cells of the immune system.

It is believed that kidney cancer spreads at an early stage and at a very fast rate. Kidney cancer spreads and infects other parts of the body through the blood and lymph nodes.
